How Brymont Programmes Work
Observe
Participants begin by noticing their existing money habits — without judgement, without comparison, simply as they are.
Name
Reading material from published authors provides a vocabulary — a set of frameworks for describing what has been observed.
Reflect
Participants keep a private journal or map of their own patterns — a record for their own use, not for submission or assessment.
PROGRAMME 1 — IN-PERSON
The Money Habits Atlas
Four Saturday Mornings • 3 hours per session • SGD 520
Four Saturday morning workshops, three hours each, held at the Brymont Cecil Street venue. Sessions map common everyday money habits onto a plain framework: when a habit is observed, how it is described in plain English, how it interacts with household income and outgoings, and how participants can keep a private journal of their own routines for self-reflection. Sessions include group conversation, printed habit maps, and a closing reading list. General education only; no personal recommendations are issued.
What Each Session Covers
- 01 Observing: seeing the habits already present in daily life
- 02 Naming: building a personal vocabulary from the reading material
- 03 Mapping: placing habits on the framework and noting interactions
- 04 Reflecting: private journalling and group discussion of general themes
- Max 12 participants per cohort
- Printed habit maps included
- Session reading list provided
- No personal financial disclosure required
PROGRAMME 2 — HYBRID
The Money Journal
Twelve Weeks • Fortnightly Group Calls • SGD 240
A printed twelve-week journal with weekly reading prompts, plus a fortnightly one-hour group video call hosted by a facilitator. Participants reflect privately on their own household money habits using the journal prompts and discuss general themes — not individual numbers — in the group call. Designed as a quiet self-led practice supported by community.
How the Programme Unfolds
- 01 Printed journal dispatched before the programme begins
- 02 Weekly prompt worked through privately, in your own time
- 03 Fortnightly group call — general themes discussed, no personal disclosure
- 04 Journal kept permanently by participant as a personal record
- Printed journal included in price
- Six fortnightly video calls across twelve weeks
- Self-paced within weekly structure
- Singapore address required for journal delivery
PROGRAMME 3 — SELF-PACED
Small Habits, Long Reading
Self-Paced • No Schedule • SGD 135
A self-paced printed reader of approximately 90 pages with short essays on small everyday habits and how authors and educators have written about them over the years. Includes an annotated bibliography of widely available books readers can borrow from the National Library Board. Designed to be read a few pages at a time. No video calls, no deadlines, no cohort.
What the Reader Contains
- 01 Eight short essays on different categories of everyday money habit
- 02 Reflection questions at the end of each essay (for private use)
- 03 Annotated bibliography with NLB call numbers for further reading
- 04 A short author's note on the limits and scope of the content
- No cohort or group element
- Printed, dispatched to Singapore address
- Designed to last — not a workbook to complete
- Delivery within 5–7 working days

Shared Standards
No Personal Advice

Privacy by Design
No programme asks participants to share financial figures. All journalling and reflection is private. Participant data is held under Singapore's PDPA.
Sourced from Published Writing
Content in all programmes is drawn from attributable published sources — books, essays, and academic writing — not from proprietary or product-linked material.
Responsive Correspondence
Enquiries are answered within two working days. All questions about format, suitability, and scheduling are welcome before any commitment is made.
NLB Bibliography Included
Every programme includes an annotated list of titles available to borrow from the National Library Board — at no extra cost and without requiring any additional purchase.
Printed Materials Provided
